Sowing Seeds Through Outreaches
Reaching the lost in Japan requires breaking down deep-seated cultural barriers. Because many Japanese people are cautious of traditional religious groups, walking into a church can feel like an intimidating hurdle. That is why strategic outreaches in neutral locations serve as a vital bridge to the local church.
The Strategy: Trust, Timing, and Culture
Perfect Timinng
Hearts are uniquely tender during Christmas and Easter. By focusing on the historical and cultural roots of these holidays rather than heavy religion, we have even gained rare access to host events inside public schools.
Trusted Voices
To break down skepticism and gather non-believers, we partner with highly respected public figures. For example, when we invited former Hanshin Tigers baseball star Matt Murton, we hosted 34 events with 6,000 attendees in just two weeks, leading many to hear the gospel for the very first time.
Open Hearts in Crisis
In the Noto Peninsula following the 7.7 earthquake, hearts are especially receptive, with response rates soaring between 20% and 50% as people turn away from false religions.
Effective Follow-Up
We connect attendees to local churches and provide digital discipleship through LINE, sending daily devotionals. One participant shared, "I have been reading the messages and I cannot stop crying, and I don't know why." That is the conviction of the Holy Spirit!
Partner With Us
God is moving powerfully, and we are looking to expand these outreaches to new venues and bring in more Christian athletes and leaders to reach more Japanese non-believers with the Gospel. Will you partner with us financially to help reach the lost in Japan? Your support fuels these events, secures venues, and sustains long-term discipleship.
